Ablavsky Plastic Surgery is the practice of Dr. Michael Ablavsky, a board certified, fellowship trained plastic surgeon based in San Antonio, Texas.
Project overview
Dr. Ablavsky asked me to design a digital home for his San Antonio practice that felt as refined as the work he does in the operating room. Cosmetic surgery is a deeply personal decision, and most patients research for weeks before they ever reach out. My goal was a site that earned trust quickly, reflected the calm and attentive care he gives in person, and moved a visitor from curiosity to consultation without friction. Working closely with Dr. Ablavsky, I shaped every page around clarity, comfort, and confidence, making sure the experience online matched the standard of his practice.
Challenges
The core challenge was organizing a large, varied menu of procedures without overwhelming visitors who arrive at very different stages, some certain of what they want and others just beginning to explore, while keeping a tone that felt aspirational and elegant yet honest and medically credible. I built the color palette to feel refined and reassuring, anchoring the brand in deep plum and burgundy for quiet luxury while soft blush, rose, and cream keep it approachable and muted grays add structure. Together the colors signal expertise and elegance without feeling clinical, striking the balance every patient facing medical brand needs: trustworthy.

Results
The finished site gave Dr. Ablavsky a digital presence that matches the quality of his practice. Procedures are now easy to discover and understand, and the streamlined consultation flow makes it simple for prospective patients to take the first step. The refined brand and palette I designed set the practice apart in a competitive San Antonio market, and the mobile experience meets patients where most of them actually research, on their phones. The result is a site that does more than inform. It builds trust, reflects Dr. Ablavsky's attentive, patient first approach, and turns interest into booked consultations.
